According to Psychologists, most incompetent people do not know that they are incompetent and are usually supremely confident of their abilities. One reason that the ignorant also tend to be the blissfully self-assured is that the skills required for competence often are the same skills necessary to recognize competence. In other words, not only do they reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices, but their incompetence robs them of the ability to realize it.
In the History of the United States there has never been a more incompetent leader of the Senate than Harry Reid. He's not only just ignorant, he's an obnoxious, partisan hack whose bleak rhetoric is making a mockery of our government. This congress has done nothing since he and bug eyes took over leadership and there's good reason. He's too busy denouncing and criticizing his adversaries. Every single day, he props up a podium somewhere on the Hill, and with a twisted face that looks like the elephant man sucked on a lemon, he stands there, wags his finger and spews hatred. His projectile Bush bashing everyday reminds me of a kindergarten kid with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Well he's at it again. Yesterday in an interview with Review-Journal he said he told Joe Liberman: "I can't stand John McCain". I've never heard a Senator talk about a colleague like that before much less the leader. It just shows that the Dems are still committed to partisanship and why not, it seems to be working for them.
